The envelope method:
1. The serve papers go inside a 9×12 privacy envelope, so names and details are never exposed while the packet rides with you.
2. Staple your top sheet to the outside of the envelope — that's how you identify the packet on the road without opening it.
3. At the moment of service, tear the top sheet off. It carries the subject's personal information and your notes — it is not part of what is handed over. The recipient receives the sealed envelope.
